Dr. Bea Gerbrands obtained her Medical Degree at the University of Pretoria in SouthAfrica. Following her residency she completed another year of study and training securing a Diploma in Anesthesiology with the South African College of Medicine. She immigrated to Canada in 1998 and proceeded to complete the LMCC 1, LMCC 2 and CCFP examinations in the field of Family Medicine.

In 2001 she was introduced to the field of Hair Health and Hair Transplantation. She pursued further education and obtained diploma status with the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgeons. She is a current member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgeons.

Dr. Bea Gerbrands has remained committed to the process of lifelong learning by reading, attending international conferences and connecting with peers. She is up-to-date with the latest research in regard to scientifically proven treatment options for hair loss and advancements in hair transplantation techniques. Her style of practice can be best described as knowledgeable, experienced, compassionate and results-driven.

In her own words, “Hair loss is a long-term and sometimes complex condition that may progress over time. In helping my patients with hair loss, I take great care to create a compassionate, safe and supportive environment. As a hair transplant surgeon, I assist my patients by providing them with information and the most appropriate and effective surgical and non-surgical hair restoration services and treatments.”
