A Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) hair transplant refers to a hair harvesting technique whereby hair follicles are extracted one at a time from the hair-bearing areas and transplanted into the non-hair-bearing areas of the scalp, eyebrows, beard and mustache. The FUE procedure is performed with a hand-held motorized device or with the ARTAS Robotic Arm System. Similarly, the FUE technique can be used to extract hair follicles from the beard and body areas and transport them to the non-hair-bearing areas of the scalp.
The ARTAS Robotic Arm System is an advanced technology developed to assist the clinician in the performance of FUE hair transplantation. While under the control of the clinician, the robotic arm can extract follicles from the hair-bearing areas of the scalp and implant the harvested follicles into the non-hair bearing areas of the scalp.
A Follicular Unit Transplant (FUT) refers to a hair harvesting technique whereby a thin strip of skin is removed from the hair-bearing area of the scalp. The harvested skin is dissected under magnification into follicular unit grafts and transplanted into the non-hair bearing areas of the scalp, eyebrows, beard and mustache.
When lost, natural eyebrows can be created and if sparse, existing eyebrows can be build up with a procedure called Eyebrow Transplantation.
Female Hair Line Lowering is a popular hair transplant technique used to enhance the female facial features by reducing the size of her forehead. The end result is a more youthful and feminine appearance.
Scalp (SMP) Facial (FMP) and Nano Eyebrow Micropigmentation is an innovative way to create the appearance of fuller hair or eyebrows. The tattoo pigment can be placed in-between existing hair or on it’s own for a finished look.
The importance of the link between hair and health is recognized at De Haar Hair Restoration. We utilize the benefits of new scientifically proven pharmaceuticals, novel biological regenerative treatments, nutrition and medical-grade light technology to support the aging hair follicles and encourage hair growth. We offer specialized micropigmentation to mimic the natural appearance of hair in the scalp, facial and eyebrow areas.
